Firstly, a big congratulations if you got engaged over the Christmas period! It is without a doubt one of the most exciting, stressful, whirlwind periods in your life but all I can say is soak it in and enjoy every second, no matter how big or small the wedding. I would be surprised if you don’t argue with your partner the most you ever have during decision making processes (I did!) but let it go, compromise and make sure your partner also has the big day they envisioned too. If like me your wedding is something you have thought about for a long time try to understand that the big day is for both of you and they deserve their say too….
Enjoy this time to be engaged, have drinks and celebrate with all your friends and family as it’s a really special time!
